The best season for surfing in Sri Lanka is from October to March inclusive of the peak season. When it comes to surfing in Sri Lanka, the South and the North West coast have ideal conditions with good surfs and in April to September you should better go down to the East Coast. Useful to note is that, if waves and weather conditions are the best in the West, it's still rainy season at the East, while in the North, it's summer.
